Away from the parish,

Pups and me on our own,

Hubby at work,

Day off.

 

Long lie,

Unshowered (that’s not even a word),

Still in PJs,

Day off.

 

Daytime trashy tv,

Coffee in bed,

Puppy cuddles,

Day off.

 

Watching the waves,

Contemplating walks,

Enjoying the

Day off.

 

A day off.

Sabbath time.

Rest.

Needed.

Appreciated.

Achieved.
